Do you know that Language Experts offers specialisation short courses for practitioners to deepen their knowledge and skills in a particular field. These will help prepare you for any examination in the specialist credential offered by accreditation body.  

Our very own The Law Enforcement I/T course provides you with contextual knowledge in this particular field in addition to the protocols and the obligations when working with law enforcement agencies. This is one day course for 20 pd points.

Other specialisation courses are the Legal and Court I/Translator Course scheduled over two days. This course is the one and only in Australia and attracts 40 pd points.

If you provide services to the health and medical fields, you will benefit from attending the health and medical I/Translator specialisation course. This course, also the one and only in Australia delivered over two days, it attracts 40 pd points.

Our specialisation courses are supported by LE own publications as well as extensive research and trainer experience.

Introduction to Health-Legal Interpreter and Translator Course is scheduled on Thursday, 11 July 2024.

The Ethics and Professionalism Course, an essential for all practitioners, will be on Saturday, 13 July 2024 and again on Saturday, 17 August 2024.

The Law enforcement interpreter and translator course, is scheduled on Saturday, 20 July 2024 and again on Saturday, 10 August 2024.

The Medical Terminology for Interpreters and Translators is scheduled on Thursday, 25 July 2024 and again on Thursday, 15 August 2024. 

Linguistics for Interpreters and Translators is scheduled on 27 July 2024. 

The Chuchotage Course for Interpreters is scheduled on Sunday, 18 August 2024. 

The Translation Techniques Course is scheduled on Saturday, 24 August 2024. 

The Health and Medical specialisation course is scheduled over two days also on Friday, 5 July and Friday, 12 July 2024.

The Legal and Court specialisation course is scheduled over two days on Friday, 2 August 2024 and Friday, 9 August 2024. 

The English Collocations and Articles Course will be delivered on Monday, 1 July and also again on Monday, 15 July 2024.

The English Vocabulary Building and Punctuation Course will be delivered on Monday, 8 July and again on Monday, 22 July 2024.
